What Shipped in the First Half of September 2026: Notes, Calendar, and Meetings

The short version: From September 1 through 15, we worked on the handoffs that interrupt a day: starting a note, checking the calendar, choosing where to reply, and finding what was said in a meeting. Each of those jobs now takes fewer detours.

Notes are easier to shape and organize

You no longer have to build every note from a blank page. There are templates for 1:1s, discovery calls, interviews, stand-ups, and weekly meetings. On the web, you can bring in Markdown files or whole folder trees, reorganize nested folders, and paste or drop images into a note. The editor shows when a change is saving or retrying, so you can tell whether it saved.

For longer notes, headings give you an outline to jump through. You can put a reminder in the note itself, and the Enhanced view is available in more places across Notes.

A clearer view of the day

Calendar now puts the week on a time grid, so you can see when events overlap or leave room to work. Home separates what's coming up from what's already happened. We also refresh stale calendar data and remove events deleted at the source; a meeting you cancelled elsewhere should not keep haunting your day here.

Reply on the channel you mean

Some people reach you in more than one place. Now you can choose the channel for your next reply from the conversation header, and Pantheon remembers your choice. Automatic is still the fallback. If you only need to switch for one message, hold the send button and choose a channel without changing that preference. A channel filter can also set the context for your next reply. On smaller screens, quick filters let you jump between unread, focused, private, group, and channel conversations.

Meetings that keep up

In the latest desktop alpha, live transcription can follow both sides of a meeting. You decide whether it runs on your Mac or in the cloud. Afterward, you can separate and rename speakers, retry a failed upload, transcribe again from audio kept on the Mac, and export the result. You have a way back to the conversation when your notes aren't enough.

More room to work on desktop

The desktop alpha's Contacts, Companies, and Deals tables now let you do more without leaving the view. Sort records, open the details you need, move a deal through the board, or edit its fields in the table.
