What is the difference between aeroderivative and heavy-duty gas turbines?
Aeroderivative machines (LM6000, TM2500, Trent 60) are lighter, start in minutes, and suit fast-start and peaking duty; heavy-duty frames (E-class and F-class) are larger and built for baseload and combined-cycle power. We list both.
