The short version: August focused on the surfaces people use every day. Notes became a more complete place to think and write, while the inbox gained more of the familiar controls and richer details that keep conversations moving.
Notes became a place to finish the work
Notes picked up more of the tools that turn captured context into finished work: clean exports, browsable folder pages, descriptions that make a collection easier to understand, and dedicated links when you want to share a note with someone else.
AI is closer to the writing itself, too. Select a passage to summarize, improve, or proofread it, or continue the conversation from the note. Notes created from recorded meetings now carry the people and source context with them, including a path back to the transcript.
Better conversations, fewer workarounds
The inbox became more complete across web and desktop. Search results take you back to the right message; archive and mute controls keep busy chat lists manageable; and attachments, stickers, reactions, and link previews feel more at home. Supported channels also gained familiar actions such as editing, deleting, and forwarding messages.
On desktop, the inbox now remembers where it was between launches — a small change that makes it feel more like a place to work through conversations, not just look at them.
The quieter work matters, too
We also tightened the controls around sign-in, workspace access, exports, and deletion. Most of that work should be invisible. As more of your relationships and work move through Pantheon, the boundaries around them should become clearer, not looser.
August was not one giant launch. It was a month of closing the small gaps between capturing context, doing something with it, and sharing the result with the right person.
