The first is a core that was disassembled and crated ahead of a major overhaul whose scope is still open: turbine, core and combustor sections separated and crated, with a crate inventory available on request, and its package preserved separately with electrical panels and systems found correctly preserved at site assessment. Returning it to service means completing the major overhaul and reinstalling the core into its package. The second is a bare spare core, held as a site spare under nitrogen preservation in its canister at 45,000–50,000 hours; it needs a major overhaul before recommissioning and a package to become a generating unit. The canister has not been opened, so internal condition is not yet verified — access for inspection can be arranged as part of a serious enquiry, and we would expect any buyer to require it. These suit a buyer with overhaul capability or an existing GE relationship, or one taking complete LM6000 units who wants a spare core alongside them, which is a common fleet strategy. The overhaul scope, and for the bare core the cost of a package, sit outside any headline figure and should be confirmed and quoted before either is relied upon — we will support that exercise.
